Chess champion

17th State-Level Open Chess Tournament sponsored by Trans India Shipping Service Pvt. Ltd. organized by NAB-TNSB approved and run by Tamil Nadu Braille Chess Association was conducted at The Madras Seva Sadan, Prem Vihar Conference Hall. There were 87 participants from Chennai, Chengalpet, Tiruvarur, Kanchipuram, Tiruvannamalai, Ranipet, Madurai, Dindigul, Virudhunagar, Nagapattinam, Kanyakumari, Pudukottai, Tirunelveli, Nammakkal and Tenkasi. There were 14 rated players, 9 Women participants and 10 students.
